Rs. 2 Crore cash found at Lalu Yadav's close associate's residence

ED initiated raids on multiple properties linked to Subhash Yadav, a prominent sand trader and associated with the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), including his residence in Danapur and various other locations. Apart from Yadav's dwelling, the ED's operation extends to Marchiya Devi Apartment, a water plant in Danapur, and an office under Shahpur police station. Yadav's role as the director of Bradson Construction Private Limited, engaged in sand business, has come under intense scrutiny amidst his alleged proximity to RJD leader Lalu Yadav.

Till now Rs. 2 crore cash has been recovered from this operation. 

Subhash Yadav, who has previously contested elections from the Chatra Lok Sabha constituency on RJD's ticket, faces heightened scrutiny as investigative agencies delve into allegations of irregularities surrounding the sand business. This latest raid marks a continuation of ongoing investigations, with previous actions undertaken by both the Enforcement Directorate and the Income Tax Department. The operation, still ongoing as of Saturday morning.
